DAVID SOLOMON - Abridged Biography

In 1969 David graduated with distinction from the
Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. In 1972 he moved to Laguna Beach and quickly became established as one of the finest watercolor artists in the country. Soon afterwards he was invited to join the National Watercolor Society, was listed in Who's Who in American Art and was the first artist to be commissioned for "live" recreation of his painting "The Ecstasy of Icarus" in the renowned Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters.

In 1977 he was awarded a teaching credential for life from the state of California and has since taught at Saddleback Valley College, Irvine Valley College the Southern California Institute of Art and numerous art associations in California, Nevada and Arizona.

His fine art and architectural illustrations can be found in the collections of the Smithsonian, Walt Disney,
U. S. Navy and Army, county and city museums and private collections throughout the world.
