Our most frequently asked question:
How Much is It Worth?

Vintage Solomon

David has been painting for the better part of four decades. You may have bought one of his originals in the 1970's, inherited one of his works, or even found a "vintage" print at a yard sale! How much is it worth? To the David Solomon collector, his original works can be nearly priceless. It's hard to say how much the piece you have would sell for at auction.

The prints shown here are from a series of prints that David produced in the 1970's. Unfortunately, these prints probably hold the least value of any of his works, simply because they were produced in large quantities by Bernard Picture Company and were even sold at JC Penney department stores! The series was a huge success

Most of David's other works have been printed in limited editions, making them worth much more, usually around $250 - $500, if framed, signed and sometimes retouched by David, as long is the print is not faded or damaged in any way.

A More Rare "Vintage" Solomon:

We were glad to see something other than just the mass produced prints when a collecter emailed us this photo. This is a more rare limited edition print from the late 1970's or early '80s. This one's a keeper! The value? Our best guess - around $500 in mint condition.

A Vintage Original:

The Fraternity
One of a series of paintings done on commission in the 1970's. What a spectacular piece! The value on something like this: Priceless, if you ask me. -Gaylen
